More Evidence of the Oil Boom

With oil prices at record levels and continuing to climb, Midland College recently offered a special workshop titled Getting Started in the Oil Business – Making That First Acquisition.

The May 5-7 session, sponsored by the college’s Petroleum Professional Development Center and the Permian Basin Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, attracted participants ranging in age from 28 to 60, according to the Midland Reporter-Telegram.
