Permian Basin Campus Has Replica of Stonehenge

Is this England or West Texas?

Monolith Place on the campus of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa features a replica of Stonehenge. It was constructed in 2004 of locally quarried limestone slabs weighing 10 tons each.

The imposing monument is the width of the original but only 70 percent as high. TexaStone of Garden City donated the stones.
